LinkedIn is one of the most popular social media apps for connecting with professionals around the globe. The app has more than 500 million users and this number continues to grow each year. LinkedIn’s newest update offers some important changes that can help users navigate their way through the app and get more out of it in less time. Here are 5 new features you will love!
What are other users saying about the new LinkedIn update?
Some of my most visited social media apps are Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat. The thing that made me hate LinkedIn was because it reminded me of Twitter. The new update is much easier to read and doesn’t have a lot of useless information included in your feed. It is visually appealing with a clean look.
You can also easily access your feed, add connections, or find jobs now on a separate tab which makes everything easier to find! Although I haven’t taken advantage of all its functions yet, it has become one of my most used social media apps! If you want to download it for yourself check out google play for Android or the app store for Apple products! Happy Connection!
What are some tips to get used to the new LinkedIn interface?
One of my favorite things about using social media is that it allows you to connect with people all over. While I love connecting with those I have met in person, there are many benefits to expanding your network through online platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.
One of my most used social networking sites is LinkedIn, which has become a great place for staying connected with business associates. There are a lot of great features on LinkedIn that make communication between professional connections much easier. Here are some tips on how to get used to the new interface
Why do we use LinkedIn?
Most social media apps are used to communicate with family and friends. However, LinkedIn is a different animal entirely—it’s used by professionals. While many social media users like to keep up with their old college roommates or post pictures of their pets, LinkedIn users are strictly for professional networking and communication.
Therefore, before you jump on there and add random people you know in an attempt to grow your number of connections, make sure that these connections will be valuable assets to your career advancement (not just friendly acquaintances). Check out our tips below to help make sure you don’t annoy people on one of the most popular social media apps around!
How can I customize my feed on LinkedIn?
On most social media apps, you can select what you want to see, and then your feed will be populated with that content. However, that’s not always an option on LinkedIn. On LinkedIn, you have to build your feed, also known as a newsfeed.
This can be both a positive and negative experience; there are lots of people out there building strong networks with many connections, but it’s hard to get information directly from other people without liking or commenting on their posts first. Thankfully, though, LinkedIn has provided us with some tips for customizing our feeds and making them more efficient. Let’s take a look at these tips below.
Where can I find more information about the new LinkedIn update?
It’s all about communication. The new version of LinkedIn does not appear to be a major departure from its predecessor, but it has been streamlined and updated with a few welcome changes, including better support for tablets and smartphones. Members have access to three different options: LinkedIn (free), which is targeted at those seeking employment; Networking (for companies that pay a $49-per-month fee); and Sales Navigator ($9 per user per month).
As you’d expect, there are some significant changes under each heading, depending on your subscription choice. If you’re looking for job opportunities, then switching over to a new LinkedIn may seem like an easy decision. But what if you’re already happy in your current position? Is it worth paying up just so that you can see who wants to hire you? For many people, networking isn’t a top priority either — especially if they’re already connected through other channels such as Facebook or Twitter. If neither of these applies to you, then what’s in it for me?
